PATIENT TAILORED PERFUSION DURING CARDIOPULMONAR BYPASS (CPB)
The solution to help physicians mantain the patient's aerobic condition during Cardiopulmonar Bypass (CPB) while preventing prospective organs failure.
After cardiac surgery, renal function impairment is common, and acute kidney injury (AKI) has an incidence that may reach 50%.
The early mortality rate in patients with AKI is around 5% but climbs to 50% when renal replacement therapy is required.
Various factors related to Cardiopulmonary Bypass (CPB) have been implicated as possible determinants of AKI. They include CPB duration, low perfusion pressure, low pump flow, severe haemodilution and low oxygen delivery (DO2).
Scientific evidence demonstrates that a careful and frequent monitoring of the patient’s parameters reduces the risk of post-operative complications.
LANDING Monitor is the solution that helps clinicians and healthcare professionals monitor the patient’s metabolic condition in real time during the Cardiopulmonar Bypass (CPB).
The CO2 detection device was specifically designed for ECC and it measures:
Sweep gas
Exhausted CO2 leaving the oxygenator module
The technology used guarantees that condensation does not alter the reading accuracy over the time.
